Pakistan’s star fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has achieved a significant milestone by reaching 100 wickets in T20 internationals. He accomplished this feat during the first T20 match against South Africa in Durban.
Shaheen is now the third Pakistani to achieve this landmark in men’s T20 internationals, joining the ranks of Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan. Notably, Shaheen has also set a record by becoming the first Pakistani cricketer to take 100 wickets across all three formats of international cricket.
His current career stats include:
- 112 wickets in One Day Internationals (ODIs)
- 116 wickets in Test matches
This achievement solidifies Shaheen’s position as one of Pakistan’s leading fast bowlers across all formats.
