A spokesperson for the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) confirmed on Saturday that airport operations across the country are continuing without disruption. This statement came in response to reports of significant delays affecting international passengers at Islamabad International Airport (IIA), where some travelers had reportedly been waiting for up to 72 hours.
Addressing the concerns, the PAA spokesperson reassured the public that these delays were isolated incidents and that overall airport operations remain unaffected. “All airport operations, including those at Islamabad International, are proceeding as normal,” the spokesperson emphasized.
The PAA also clarified that there would be no interruptions in services at any of Pakistan’s airports, reassuring travelers and the public that the situation is under control.
