Fawad Khan is set to lead two exciting new projects announced at the Inaugural Tasveer Film Market, a Seattle-based event focused on South Asian cinema.
Khan will star in Behind The Scenes, a newsroom thriller and dark comedy set in the fast-paced world of journalism.
He will also take on the lead role in The Prisoner, a crime thriller series for Awedacious Originals, based on Omar Shahid’s bestselling novel. The 1990s-set drama follows two daring cops, one of whom will be portrayed by Khan, as they undertake a covert mission to dismantle a political party operating like a mafia in Karachi.
Awedacious Originals has also acquired Disruption, a documentary by Sarvnik Kaur that explores the conflict between an Indian farmer and a British corporation.
