In an intelligence-based operation conducted between the night of October 23 and 24 in Bajaur district, security forces successfully killed nine terrorists, including two suicide bombers. Among the deceased was Said Muhammad, a high-value Khawarij ring leader, according to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Following an intense exchange of fire, the military recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. The ISPR highlighted that the terrorists were involved in various attacks targeting both security forces and innocent civilians.
The military is continuing a sanitization operation in the area to ensure the elimination of any remaining militants, reaffirming its commitment to eradicating terrorism in Pakistan.
