Honeywell partners with google to Integrate AI for autonomous Industrial operations.

Honeywell has announced a partnership with Google to integrate advanced artificial intelligence technology into its industrial operations, aiming to streamline and automate tasks for its customers. The collaboration will combine Google’s Gemini AI, the tech giant’s most advanced AI tool, with Honeywell’s Forge platform, which collects industrial data.

This AI-powered integration is expected to reduce project times and help address ongoing labor shortages in industries such as engineering, warehousing, and technical services. Honeywell plans to introduce its first AI-enabled solutions to customers in 2025.

“The path to autonomy requires assets working harder, people working smarter, and processes working more efficiently,” said Vimal Kapur, Honeywell’s chairman and CEO.

By utilizing Google’s Vertex AI platform, the collaboration will allow Honeywell to process a variety of data types, including images, videos, text, and sensor readings, to reduce design cycles and optimize operations. Honeywell hopes the partnership will lower maintenance costs, boost productivity, and improve employee skills by harnessing the latest advancements in AI.
