The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has once again turned to former cricketer Mushtaq Ahmed, appointing him as the spin bowling coach for the upcoming two-Test series against South Africa.
Shahriar Nafees, Operations Manager of Bangladesh Cricket, confirmed that Mushtaq will work with the team on a series-by-series basis, depending on his availability. Mushtaq previously served in this role during Bangladesh’s tour of Pakistan in August.
The first Test match between South Africa and Bangladesh is scheduled to begin on October 21, where Mushtaq’s expertise will be key in preparing Bangladesh’s spinners for the challenging series ahead.
