India triumphed over Pakistan by six wickets in the seventh match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup held in Dubai. Chasing a target of 106 runs, India secured the victory before the completion of the 19th over, with Shafali Verma leading the charge, scoring 32 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan set a modest target of 106 runs, with notable contributions from Nida Dar (28 runs), Muneeba Ali (17 runs), and captain Fatima Sana (13 runs).

India’s Arundhati Reddy and Shreyanka Patil were instrumental with the ball, claiming three and two wickets, respectively.

In preparation for the high-stakes match, security was heightened around the venue.

This win marks India’s recovery after an earlier loss to New Zealand, while Pakistan had already celebrated a 31-run victory over Sri Lanka in their opening match.
