The Pakistan Test squad underwent a rigorous fielding session at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, showcasing their dedication under the expert guidance of their coaches. Key players, including captain Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Abdullah Shafique, Salman Ali Agha, Khurram Shehzad, and Aamer Jamal, devoted two hours to the intensive practice.
In addition, eight members of the Test squad—Saud Shakil, Kamran Ghulam, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Haris, Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, and Sarfraz Ahmed—are also part of the Pakistan Shaheens team. They will join the Test squad for further training sessions following their four-day match against Bangladesh A.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh A’s first practice session at the Islamabad Club was curtailed by rain, limiting their activities to fitness training. The opening four-day match between Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh A is set to commence in August.
