On Monday, a mother and her daughter lost their lives when the roof of a run-down house in Rawalpindi’s Amarpura area collapsed due to heavy rainfall, as reported by Dunya News.
The collapse buried the pair under the debris. After extensive efforts, rescue teams, assisted by local volunteers, managed to retrieve their bodies from the rubble. The deceased were then transported to a nearby hospital and subsequently handed over to their family members.
