In response to an attack on Pakistan’s consulate in Germany, the government has underscored the sanctity of the national flag.
Federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Awais Leghari, Khawaja Asif, Abdul Aleem Khan, Rana Tanveer, and Atta Tarar held a ceremony where they shared pictures with the Pakistani flag as a symbolic gesture of highlighting its importance and respect.
The attack, carried out by a group of Afghans, targeted installations at Pakistan’s consulate in Frankfurt, Germany, and included the desecration of the national flag.
Pakistan condemned the attack and lodged a protest with the relevant authorities.
