A joyous occasion unfolded at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) as a woman gave birth to quadruplets—two boys and two girls—on Thursday.
The mother and her four babies are reported to be in good health and stable condition. Gynecologist Dr. Laila Shafiq shared that Hina Patras from Nankana Sahib was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition.
Dr. Khalida and Dr. Ayesha Malik, attending doctors, conducted the necessary medical examinations and performed a cesarean section to safely deliver the quadruplets.
Prof. Al Farid Zafar, Principal of the Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI), commended the professionalism of the female doctors and nurses involved in the complex operation, emphasizing their efficiency and success.
He noted that under the guidance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the hospital continues to offer free treatment facilities to patients, underscoring its commitment to providing state-of-the-art healthcare services.
