A woman gave birth to quadruplets—two boys and two girls—at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) on Thursday. Both the mother, Hina Patras from Nankana Sahib, and her four babies are reported to be healthy and stable.
Hina Patras was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition, according to Gynecologist Dr. Laila Shafiq. Duty doctors Dr. Khalida and Dr. Ayesha Malik conducted a medical examination and performed the cesarean section successfully.
PGMI Principal Prof. Al Farid Zafar commended the professionalism of the female doctors and nurses, who handled the complex operation efficiently and effectively. He highlighted that, under the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the hospital provides free treatment facilities to patients.
The parents and their families expressed immense joy over the birth of the quadruplets and thanked the doctors and staff for the excellent and free treatment they received.
