Mohammad Rizwan showcased his batting prowess with a splendid knock of 56 runs off just 38 deliveries, while Babar Azam delivered a masterclass innings, smashing 75 runs to steer Pakistan towards the target of 179 runs set by the hosts. Despite facing some pressure after the duo’s dismissal, Azam Khan’s aggressive batting ensured Pakistan’s triumph, sealing the series win for the visitors with 18 balls to spare.

The early loss of opener Saim Ayub, who could only manage 14 runs, posed a challenge for Pakistan, but Azam and Rizwan’s partnership turned the tide in their favor.

Earlier in the match, Pakistan’s decision to bowl first paid off as they restricted Ireland to a target of 179 runs. Ireland’s captain, Lorcan Tucker, played a commendable innings, scoring 73 runs, while Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi impressed with his bowling, claiming three crucial wickets.
