Unity Conference in Karachi Demands Government Action on International Day of Al-Quds

A unity conference organized by the Palestine Foundation Pakistan in Karachi’s local hotel called for the observance of International Day of Al-Quds at the governmental level, with various political and religious groups voicing their support for the oppressed Palestinian cause.

Among the prominent figures present at the Unity Palestine Conference were MQM-P’s MNA Rauf Siddiqui, former Senator Taj Haider of the Pakistan Peoples Party, PTI leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Prince Abul Khair, and Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, along with other political and religious personalities. They collectively emphasized Pakistan’s role in openly supporting the plight of the oppressed Palestinians.

Political leaders reiterated their stance against Muslim rulers’ fear of the American ambassador, calling for the termination of diplomatic relations with the United States by the Muslim world. They condemned the recent attacks by Hamas, asserting that they sent a message to the world that there is no fear of Israel.

Furthermore, they expressed skepticism regarding the dream of ending Hamas, emphasizing that the colonization of Jews in Palestine is fraudulent. They highlighted the indelible history being written of the sacrifices made by mothers and children in Palestine.

The conference served as a platform for political and religious leaders to unite in their advocacy for the Palestinian cause, urging the Pakistani government to take concrete actions to support Palestine and stand against the atrocities committed by Israel. They stressed the need for solidarity among Muslim nations in confronting the injustices faced by the Palestinian people.
