The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the tour of the New Zealand cricket team to Pakistan. According to the schedule released by the PCB, the New Zealand cricket team will tour Pakistan from April 14, during which they will play five Twenty20 International matches.
The series will kick off with three matches scheduled for April 18, 20, and 21 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Following these, Lahore will host the remaining two T20 matches on April 25 and 27. All T20 matches of the series are set to begin at 7 PM local time.
This tour marks New Zealand’s third visit to Pakistan in a span of 17 months. Previously, in December 2022, the New Zealand team toured Pakistan for a series comprising two Tests and three One-Day Internationals. Later in the same year, they also participated in a series of 10 white-ball matches held in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.
Director International Cricket at PCB, Osman Wahla, expressed his delight at the announcement of the tour schedule between Pakistan and New Zealand. He highlighted the strong and enduring friendship between the two cricketing nations, emphasizing the mutual respect and deep-rooted relations shared by both.
