PTI Calls for Political Reconciliation Amidst Allegations of Power Play

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expressed a desire for political reconciliation among political forces, emphasizing the need to end the practice of one party coming to power and then sidelining others, citing excessive revenge-driven actions.

During a discussion on Geo News program with Shahzeb Khanzada, PTI leader Sher Azam Marwat stated that they will not wait for confrontation between the government and the establishment. Instead, they seek political reconciliation among various parties.

Marwat emphasized that PTI’s affiliation with the establishment remains unchanged from the night of May 9. PTI has never said that dialogue with political forces is impossible, but there is a difference of opinion on the agenda of discussions.

He further stated that the most significant beneficiary of any malpractice involving PTI is the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). MQM candidates received 6-6 and 10-10 thousand votes, yet they were given seats, making dialogue with them impossible.

Marwat highlighted that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has not caused as much harm to PTI, while the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) continues to blame the establishment, urging them to acknowledge this reality.

Expressing willingness for possible reconciliation with political forces, Marwat emphasized that PTI’s deal can only be struck with political forces.

The remarks by PTI’s Sher Azam Marwat underscore the party’s stance on political reconciliation and their willingness to engage in dialogue with other political entities. As allegations of power play and confrontations persist, PTI aims to foster cooperation among various political forces for the stability and progress of Pakistan’s political landscape.
