Metabolic syndrome is essentially a combination of various diseases or complexities that can lead to severe health issues. Dried fruits have been found to be helpful in controlling abdominal obesity, accumulation of fat around the waist, lipid accumulation in the blood, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Experts suggest that dried fruits such as pistachios, almonds, apricots, cashews, figs, raisins, and dates are beneficial in reducing the effects and risks of metabolic syndrome. Throughout the world, it has been observed that people are increasingly consuming fried and unhealthy foods like chips and papads, especially among the youth. However, incorporating dried fruits into their diets can help mitigate the negative effects of fried foods.

Experts emphasize that dried fruits are beneficial not only for young individuals aged 20 but also for those aged 40 and above, particularly for preventing metabolic syndrome. Therefore, promoting the consumption of dried fruits can play a significant role in improving public health outcomes, reducing the burden of metabolic syndrome, and preventing associated chronic diseases.
